MasterCard Christmas: Priceless

MasterCard’s iconic Christmas TV campaign has become a recognisable part of Christmas TV. Emotive images of families and friends being reunited in airport arrivals remind viewers of what’s important at Christmas featuring the slogan:  Spending Christmas together: Priceless.

This Christmas, this message also came to the UK airports to support and add context to the TV campaign, which is set at Heathrow Airport.  By buying a national digital campaign, we were able to target 90% passengers leaving the UK by plane. The airports include all the London Airports as well as the smaller regional airports such as East Midlands and Aberdeen.

 We used 5 different creative executions on a loop to showcase each reunion from the TV creative throughout the check in, departures lounge, gaterooms, and on the new Heathrow Express Motion Network, which replicates the DEPs on the underground.

BAA added extra festive cheer to the arrivals hall at Heathrow Terminal 5 by suspending a massive mistletoe structure from the ceiling, the perfect place for a romantic reunion.
