PWC's environmental commitment

PWC's environmental commitment

PriceWaterhouseCoopers recently became a Carbon Neutral Company and wanted to showcase their commitment to climate change.  What better time to do it than at the Copenhagen Climate Council in May 2009, which united global business leaders to discuss how business could help solve climate change.

PWC chose OOH at Copenhagen Airport to create a campaign that told a story to delegates arriving for the conference. Using a combination of formats, this story needed to embrace and acknowledge the fact that we are in a world that needs change: the way to make it easier for everyone is to work together, be ready together, to make that change, and become Carbon Neutral.

The creative solution worked perfectly for the formats planned, trailing the delegates as they leave the plane, through the piers to baggage reclaim and then onto exterior billboards that had ‘ready, ready, ready go’ as people left the airport by road, as the final message.

IPM has been part of the Carbon Neutral Company for the last 2 years, and have just renewed for a further year. We worked out the carbon footprint cost of the campaign with the Carbon Neutral Company so that this can be offset.

PWC have booked a repeat campaign in December as the United Nations Climate Change Conference comes to Copenhagen, further communicating their commitment to climate change.
